Award-winning photographer Neo Ntsoma is a South African pioneer, changing photojournalism, portraits, and music photography. The first Black female photographer at The Star, she also won the CNN Mohamed Amin Award.
Hailing from Vryburg and nurtured in Mafikeng, Ntsoma’s photographic journey began with a resolute mission to challenge and transform the misrepresentation of Black South Africans in mainstream media.
