Gender discrimination and injustice are linked and originate from a wider systemic problem.

In an earlier section, we established patriarchy as a system built on gender stereotypes granting power and privilege to men. Patriarchy’s influence on society results in uneven gender power distribution. The source of all gender injustice is these dynamics.
