This video illustrates the Tree of Patriarchy. It uses an intersectional approach to explore its links with other systems like racism and sexism that cause gender injustice.

Gender discrimination and injustice are linked and originate from a wider systemic problem.

In an earlier section, we established patriarchy as a system built on gender stereotypes granting power and privilege to men. Patriarchy’s influence on society results in uneven gender power distribution. The source of all gender injustice is these dynamics.
